Private Instruction is a great chance to recover from an injury, to clarify your existing practice and to take specific steps toward a desired goal with the direct feedback of a teacher.
Those with a current practice often receive a “tune up” or a jumpstart after spending some focused time with a teacher. And for those newer to Yoga, we will create a solid foundation upon which your practices can grow.
What to Expect
During our first session we will:
-assess your individual needs
-target and clarify your desired goal
-consider past injuries and current lifestyle in forming your new mindful habits
-begin to tailor a routine or set of exercises that can be practiced weekly
Sometimes, a few sessions are required to set up a full self-care routine.
For the first few sessions, we will introduce props progressively. So no need to have a lot of items at the beginning.
You provide the mat and we’ll start from there.
For your own comfort, please avoid eating a heavy meal before practice. If possible, give yourself 2-3hrs between eating and our session.
Permission to Move
By scheduling a session, all parties prove to have been cleared by doctors for physical activity and will not hold Sarah Girard liable for injury or other physical damages.
